Smile Project
Letter to Future/Present Self
Dear Katie, In order to be successful in your photography class, you need to be creative with every prompt. Looking on Pinterest is great way to get some inspiration. However, don't just pick the first idea you see. Instead scroll through and you'll see some amazing projects. Also, you're going to hate some of the prompts, but don't give up on your designs. Keep working and they'll start to look how you imagined. When taking your photos, don't wait until it gets dark outside and you have no good, natural lighting. Plan ahead to the perfect time for you to take your pictures, where all the elements like lighting and shadows look how you want them. In Photoshop, don't just use the same three tools over and over again. That can get boring. Be creative and use a plethora of different tools and visuals. In class, you will have downtime. That just occurs naturally when you finish one project and have a day or two off before starting the next one. Just don...

I think the fear is self image.
ReplyDeleteThe message is very clear.
I like the use of dark lighting and colors to add to the dark feeling conveyed.
I would maybe not use a blue color to depict he word and instead a gray or white to match the theme.
I think the fear is fear of oneself.
ReplyDeleteI think it is pretty successful in the message it's conveying.
I like the look of the photo being black and white.
The only criticism i have is to maybe use more deluded colors to fit the back and white theme instead of a bright color.
I think the fear in this project is fear of oneself/their image.
ReplyDeleteThe photo is successful in conveying this message because she seems afraid of herself in the image.
I love the black and white contrast!
The only criticism I'd have is the font/spacing.
